What this exercises

More than a pretty homepage

The dataset is deliberately broad enough to demonstrate the WordPress paths that grow on real editorial and business sites, while every public query remains bounded and cacheable.

01

Database depth

Posts, pages, comments, metadata, categories, tags, menus, archives, and search provide realistic table cardinality and query patterns.

02

Media pressure

Locally hosted responsive WebP images exercise attachment metadata, thumbnail generation, static delivery, browser caching, and page weight.

03

Cache behaviour

LiteSpeed serves repeat traffic quickly while uncached archive, article, taxonomy, search, and pagination routes still exercise WordPress.

Measured acceptance snapshot · 9 Sep 2026

Real requests, published plainly

Observed from an external test client after the rebuild. Results vary by route, network, cache state, and security policy; these figures are a transparent snapshot rather than a performance guarantee.

160

Cached requests

100 homepage plus 60 archive requests completed successfully with zero HTTP errors at concurrency 12 and 10.

36

Homepage p95, ms

Cache-hit homepage latency measured 29.7 ms median and 36.4 ms p95 during the bounded acceptance run.

251

Single cache miss, ms

A later one-request uncached homepage check completed in 251 ms, exercising PHP and MariaDB.

Protection is part of performance

Rapid uncached bursts were rate-limited.

The security layer returned HTTP 429 when the same test source rapidly generated unique uncached and search URLs. We kept that safeguard enabled: a shared platform should serve normal traffic quickly without allowing one client to monopolize uncached capacity.

Transparent methodology

A useful demo, not an artificial burn loop

This site creates scale through normal WordPress objects and public routes—not hidden scripts designed to waste CPU. That makes it suitable for repeatable cache, archive, search, database, and concurrency tests.

01 / Cached: repeat public requests demonstrate LiteSpeed cache delivery.
02 / Uncached: bounded query-string tests exercise PHP and MariaDB safely.
03 / Breadth: posts, comments, media, terms, metadata, archives, and search are represented.
04 / Honest: the account is assigned to HYEHOST’s real Free Hosting package and its plan limits.
